My leadership experience, spanning three decades and four continents, draws upon a global perspective that can help your team, company, or organization continue to accelerate success and achieve remarkable performance. I possess broad expertise in program management, logistics and supply chain management, change leadership and cultural transformation, strategic planning, systems-level process management, and professional writing, as well as a wide range of leadership experience with numerous higher headquarters staffs including the USAF innovation and transformation staff at the Pentagon. I am familiar with many of the progressive K-12 education reform efforts under way, and I have coordinated and directed a number of key operations centers over the years. The most notable, by far, was the 1995 Presidential tasking in support of the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have served as a Director of Logistics in both Europe and the Middle East, and I enjoy extensive know-how as a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) who holds an advanced professional designation in Logistics Management and has been recognized as a Senior Logistician by the International Society of Logistics Engineers. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a doctorate in Education, I hold a current Top Secret DoD security clearance, and I am DAWIA certified in acquisition logistics and program management.

I have taken advantage of my retirement from the Air Force to serve as an interim academic dean, to support the public sector in the National Capitol Region as a senior consultant, and to devote much of my time and energy to the creation of the NorthFork Center for Servant Leadership, a 501(c)3 nonprofit in central Virginia committed to cultivating and mentoring servant leaders as a way of preparing men and women for lives of public service, advocacy, and civic leadership. As an extension of that work, I created Walnut Ridge Consulting to leverage my strengths — serving, leading, loving, giving, caring, and sharing — and build synergies around relationships that bring to life our collective desire to make our world a better place.
